Miele Washing Machine Error Code F62

• Washing machine stops mid-cycle and displays F62 error code on the digital display
• Machine will not start or respond to button inputs
• Drum does not rotate
• Water does not fill or drain
• All indicator lights may flash or display erratically
• Machine beeps continuously or makes unusual sounds
• Previously running cycles suddenly halt

• Faulty electronic control board (main PCB) requiring replacement
• Loose or corroded electrical connections between control module and components
• Power supply issues related to 120V North American electrical standards
• Failed communication cable between control board and drum motor
• Water inlet valve solenoid malfunction
• Drain pump motor failure or disconnection
• Door lock mechanism not communicating with control module
• Water level sensor failure
• Thermal fuse blown due to electrical surge
• Control board firmware corruption

• Check your home's circuit breaker panel and ensure the Miele washing machine's dedicated breaker is in the ON position; if tripped, flip it OFF then back ON
• Verify both hot and cold water supply valves behind the washing machine are fully turned clockwise to ensure adequate water pressure
• Inspect the drain hose for kinks, twists, or blockages; ensure it is not positioned higher than the top of the machine (maximum height 96 inches)
• Remove any items from inside the washing machine and do not overload the drum beyond the manufacturer's maximum capacity
• Open and close the washing machine door firmly several times to ensure the door latch is fully engaged and seated properly
• Perform a hard reset by switching OFF the dedicated circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then switch it back ON to allow the control module to reinitialize
• Unplug the washing machine from the electrical outlet for 5 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the electronic control system
• Ensure the machine is placed on level ground and not tilted, as this can affect sensor readings
