• Inspect the external dryer vent hood outside your home to ensure it is not blocked by lint, debris, or bird nests
• Open the dryer door fully and verify it closes completely with an audible click, ensuring the door latch is fully engaged
• Remove any items blocking the door seal and check that the door gasket is not damaged
• Unload the dryer and reload with a normal-sized load, as overloading can affect sensor operation
