• Check your home's circuit breaker panel and verify the breaker for the refrigerator is in the ON position; reset it by switching OFF for 10 seconds then back ON
• Verify the refrigerator is properly plugged into a grounded 120V outlet
• Ensure refrigerator vents inside and outside the unit are not blocked by food items, ice, or dust
• Check that both refrigerator and freezer doors are fully closed and sealing properly by testing with a dollar bill
• Verify temperature settings are appropriate (37-40°F for fridge, 0°F for freezer)
• Unplug the refrigerator at the wall outlet, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in to perform a complete reset
• If accessible without disassembly, gently clean the condenser coils and fins located at the back or bottom of the unit using a soft brush or vacuum with low suction
• Allow 4-6 hours after reset for the refrigerator to return to normal operating temperature before concluding the reset was unsuccessful
