• Check the external dryer vent hood outside your home to ensure it is not blocked by lint, debris, or weather seals
• Inspect the exhaust duct behind the dryer for kinks, crushing, or blockages that impede hot air flow
• Ensure the dryer door is fully closed and latches completely with an audible click
• Avoid overloading the drum; dry smaller loads to improve airflow and heat distribution
• Unplug the dryer or turn off the dedicated circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then restore power to perform a complete reset
• Verify the dryer is installed at least 4 inches from walls to allow proper ventilation around the unit
• Check that all external venting connections are secure and properly sealed without gaps
