• Verify the refrigerator is receiving power by checking the circuit breaker panel and confirming the dedicated circuit is in ON position; reset the breaker if tripped
• Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and wait 60 seconds, then plug back in to reset the control board and clear temporary error codes
• Check that both refrigerator and freezer door seals are clean and closing completely without gaps
• Ensure air vents inside both compartments are not blocked by food items or packaging
• Verify temperature settings are appropriate (37-40°F for fridge, 0°F for freezer) and not set to extreme positions
• Access and clean the condenser coils located at the bottom or back of the unit using a soft brush or vacuum with brush attachment
• Confirm the refrigerator has adequate clearance around all sides and back (minimum 2-3 inches) for proper ventilation
• Check that the drain hole at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment is not clogged with debris
