Miele Oven & Range Error Code FE47

• Oven will not heat or reach desired temperature
• Error code FE47 displayed on the control panel
• Oven may shut off unexpectedly during preheating or cooking
• Control panel buttons may become unresponsive
• Range burners may not ignite or function properly
• Oven interior light may flicker or not illuminate
• Audible beeping sounds when attempting to use oven functions

• Failed or degraded temperature sensor probe (RTD or thermistor) in the oven cavity
• Loose or corroded electrical connections between control board and heating elements
• Malfunctioning control module or electronic board due to power surges on 240V circuit
• Damaged wiring harness connecting sensors to main control board
• Defective heating element with broken continuity
• Power supply voltage fluctuations from home electrical panel (common in USA 240V circuits)
• Faulty relay or contactor controlling heating element power
• Moisture or debris interfering with sensor connections in control cavity

• Verify your home circuit breaker has not tripped; check the breaker dedicated to your Miele oven range and reset if needed
• Ensure the oven door is fully closed and latches securely with an audible click
• Turn off all oven and range controls and verify settings are at neutral or OFF positions
• Allow the appliance to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use it again
• Check that adequate ventilation space (minimum 4 inches) exists on all sides and top of the oven range; ensure no objects are blocking vents
• Perform a hard reset by switching off the dedicated circuit breaker for the oven range for exactly 60 seconds, then switch back on
• Visually inspect the oven door seals for damage or gaps that could affect cooking temperature accuracy
• Wait 5 minutes after power restoration for the control system to fully reinitialize before attempting to use oven
• If error persists after reset, note the exact error code display and do not attempt further operation
