• Turn off the circuit breaker supplying power to the oven/range for 60 seconds, then restore power to attempt a system reset
• Verify the oven door is fully closed and latched securely
• Check that the dedicated 240V circuit breaker for the range has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Ensure the oven has cooled completely before attempting any operations
• Confirm proper ventilation around the appliance with adequate airflow clearance
• Review the control panel settings and ensure no child lock or special cooking modes are accidentally activated
• Inspect the oven interior visually for any loose wires or visibly damaged components around sensor areas (do not touch internal parts)
• Ensure the oven is not in a demonstration or service mode by checking the user manual
• Allow the appliance to sit unplugged for several minutes before retrying operation
