• Check your home's circuit breaker panel and ensure the dryer's dedicated 240V circuit breaker is in the ON position; if tripped, switch OFF then back ON
• Open the dryer door and visually inspect the moisture sensor (typically located inside the drum or on the back wall) for visible lint, dust, or debris
• Gently clean the moisture sensor contacts with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove any buildup
• Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter trap, then check the exhaust vent hose for blockages or restrictions that may cause moisture backup
• Ensure the dryer door closes completely and latches firmly with an audible click
• Avoid overloading the dryer; fill it only three-quarters full to allow proper air circulation and sensor function
• Perform a complete system reset by turning OFF the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then switch it back ON and attempt a test cycle
• Check that the dryer vent on the exterior of your home is not blocked by lint, bird nests, or weather debris, and ensure the damper opens freely
