• Check your home circuit breaker panel to ensure the refrigerator circuit breaker is ON and not tripped; reset if necessary
• Verify the refrigerator is plugged in securely and the outlet is functioning by testing with another 120V appliance
• Inspect refrigerator vents inside and outside the unit to ensure air circulation is not blocked by food, ice, or debris
• Confirm both the refrigerator and freezer door seals are clean, undamaged, and closing completely without gaps
• Check that refrigerator temperature settings are appropriate (typically 37-40°F for fridge, 0-5°F for freezer)
• Clean the condenser coils on the back or bottom of the unit using a soft brush to remove dust buildup
• Allow 24 hours after cleaning condenser coils for the system to stabilize
• Perform a soft reset: turn off the refrigerator circuit breaker for exactly 60 seconds, then turn back ON and observe if error clears
• If error persists after these checks, discontinue use and contact Miele customer service or an authorized technician for repair
