• Remove and clean the lint filter thoroughly before each load and inspect for damage or tears
• Inspect the exterior exhaust vent opening to ensure it is not blocked by lint, debris, or bird nests
• Check the dryer door latch to confirm the door closes completely and latches securely
• Verify you are not overloading the dryer drum, as this restricts airflow and can trigger heating errors
• Inspect the flexible exhaust ductwork behind the dryer for kinks, crushes, or blockages that restrict airflow
• Ensure the dryer has adequate clearance around all sides for proper ventilation
