• Dryer does not stop automatically when clothes are dry

• Check your home's circuit breaker and ensure the dryer circuit is properly powered and not tripped; reset if necessary
• Inspect and clean the lint filter thoroughly, removing all lint buildup from both the filter and filter housing
• Check that the dryer vent hose is not kinked, blocked, or clogged with lint; ensure it vents outside properly
• Avoid overloading the dryer drum—dry smaller loads to allow better air circulation and sensor accuracy
• Verify the dryer door is fully closed and properly latched; a misaligned door can trigger sensor errors
• Run a reset cycle by switching off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then switch it back on to clear temporary faults
• If you notice visible lint or residue on the moisture sensor contacts inside the dryer drum, gently wipe them clean with a dry cloth (do not use liquids)
• Check that all external dryer vents and intake openings are not blocked by lint, pet hair, or debris
