• Oven will not heat or maintain temperature
• Display shows FE37 error code
• Cooking cycle stops unexpectedly

• Temperature display shows incorrect or fluctuating readings

• Faulty temperature sensor (RTD or thermocouple) in the oven cavity
• Loose or corroded electrical connection to the temperature sensor
• Damaged sensor wiring or broken wire inside the oven walls
• Control board failure preventing proper sensor signal recognition
• 240V power supply instability affecting sensor circuit (in USA models)
• Sensor connector disconnected from main control module
• Thermal sensor resistance out of acceptable range due to age or wear
• Grease or food debris buildup on sensor element causing false readings

• Turn off the circuit breaker supplying power to your Miele oven for 60 seconds, then turn it back on to attempt a full system reset
• Verify the dedicated 240V circuit breaker (or 120V for some models) is in the ON position and has not tripped
• Ensure the oven door is fully closed and the door latch engages completely
• Check that no cookware, racks, or other items are obstructing the temperature sensor area inside the oven cavity
• Allow the oven to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power it back on
• Verify proper ventilation around and behind the oven appliance with at least 2-3 inches of clearance
• Review your Miele user manual to confirm all control panel settings are correct for your desired cooking mode
• Unplug any extension cords or power strips if used; connect the oven directly to the wall outlet
• Check that the oven is not in demonstration (demo) mode which may disable heating functions
