• Power cycle the machine: Turn off the machine completely, unplug from the 120V outlet, wait 60 seconds, then plug back in and power on
• Check water tank: Remove the water tank and verify it is filled with fresh, cold water to the maximum fill line
• Reseat water tank: Ensure the water tank is completely and firmly seated into the machine with no gaps
• Inspect water inlet: Check that the water inlet connection on the back of the machine is not loose or disconnected
• Clean the inlet filter: Locate and rinse the water inlet filter screen with clean running water
• Run descaling cycle: Use a Miele-approved descaling solution and run the descaling program to remove mineral deposits
• Check brew unit: Remove the brew unit according to the manual and verify it is clean and free of coffee grounds or blockages
• Clean drip tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray to ensure drainage holes are not clogged
• Verify bean container: Ensure the coffee bean container is not overfilled and beans are not jamming the grinder chute
• Test water flow: Listen for the pump motor sound when powering on; if completely silent, the pump may not be operating
• Check household water pressure: Verify other faucets in your home have normal water pressure; contact your water utility if pressure is below 20 PSI
