• Verify the power cord is firmly plugged into a functioning 120V outlet; try a different outlet to rule out electrical issues
• Remove and inspect the water tank for cracks or damage; ensure it is completely filled with fresh, cool water
• Reinsert the water tank firmly until you hear it click or lock into place
• Check that the water tank cap is sealed properly
• Empty and rinse the drip tray and grounds container to remove any blockages
• Remove the brew unit according to your user manual and inspect for visible obstructions, mineral deposits, or misalignment; rinse thoroughly with cool water
• Run a full descaling cycle using Miele descaling solution or approved alternative to remove mineral buildup from internal lines
• Inspect the water supply hose for kinks, bends, or visible damage
• Turn off the machine completely and unplug from the 120V outlet for 60 seconds, then plug back in and restart to reset the system
• Check that all visible water connections are hand-tight and not leaking
• Run a test cycle with water only (no coffee) to see if water flows properly
• If you have a water filter cartridge installed, remove and reinstall it to ensure proper seating
